1. Add Your Information as the Host

Start by introducing yourself. This helps show who is inviting the visitor and where you’re based. Make sure to include your:

• Full name
• US address
• Phone number
• Email address

Then, state your immigration status. Clearly say if you are a US citizen or a permanent resident. End this section by adding the date you’re writing the letter.

2. Include the Visitor’s Details

Next, provide information about the person you’re inviting. This helps connect their identity to the purpose of the trip. Include their:

• Full name
• Home address
• Passport number
• Date of birth

Share how you know the visitor. Are they a friend, family member, or business contact? You can also include the location of their scheduled visa interview if you have it.

3. Describe the Visit

Explain why they’re coming to the US. This could be for tourism, a family event, business meetings, or medical treatment. List the planned arrival and departure dates. Be clear about where they’ll stay during the visit.

4. Mention Financial Support if You’re Offering It
