The margin attributes only control the outside spacing between the letter and the surrounding content.
Blue block = content before the letter.
Green block = content after the letter.
So, for example:
margin_top=”120px” creates 120px empty space between the blue block and the letter.
margin_bottom=”120px” creates 120px empty space between the letter and the green block.
margin_top=”0″ removes the extra space above the letter.
